The Barbour County Assessor’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Front Office Clerk. Duties include, but are not limited to: Maintenance of property ownership records, assessment of personal property, customer assistance in the office, via phone and email, along with general office/clerical tasks. Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Neat handwriting and ability to read and write in cursive required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products required along with general computer skills. Previous experience working with the public preferred. Salary based on skills and experience. Position begins August 1, 2024.
